Fadlan Prawira Breaks National Swimming Record in Singapore

Fadlan Prawira managed to break the national record of the men’s 800-meter freestyle pool. He chalked up the record on the first day of NEO Garden 14th Singapore National Swimming Championship 2018 at OCBC Aquatic Center, Singapore on Wednesday.

Fadlam recorded a time of 8 minutes 07.50 seconds or sharpen the old rekornas in his own name that is 8 minutes 12.54 seconds.

Vice Chairman of PB PRSI, Harlin Rahardjo, was pleased with the incision. “This proves Fadlan’s rapidly growing capacity after training in Australia and daily practice in Bali under the care of Frenchman David Armandoni,” he said,

In the 800m freestyle number, Indonesia’s other swimmer Athalarik Maulidio recorded an 8 minute time of 31.09 seconds in sixth position. Reza Bayu Prasetyo finished ninth with a record time of 8 minutes 36.36 seconds. While Agus Nuarta with a time of 8 minutes 41.69 seconds in rank 11.

In the women’s free style 1500 meters freestyle, Indonesian swimmer Ressa Kania Dewi recorded a time of 17 minutes 26.99 seconds was ranked second. Australian swimmer Sophie Caldwell ranked first with a record of 16 minutes 51.69 seconds.

NEO Garden 14th Singapore National Swimming Championship 2018 will be rolling on 20-23 June 2018. Besides Indonesia, some participating countries are South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, India, host Singapore, and Victoria Swimming Australia team.
