Asian Games 2018: Jokowi Plans to Visit Pelatnas

President Joko Widodo or Jokowi plans to visit a national training camp (Pelatnas) to monitor the national athletes’ preparedness against the 2018 Asian Games.

“I will start to come to the existing national parks in Jakarta, around Jakarta, and outside Java to make sure our athletes are ready,” said Jokowi at Gelora Bung Karno Complex, Jakarta, Monday, June 25, 2018.

Jokowi said his visit was also to ensure that athletes could meet the medal targets. If you can, he said, the athletes could exceed the target when following hosting the Asian Games on August 18th.
