Asian Games 2018: Here’s Determination of Women’s Soccer Athlete Origin Bali

Dewa Ayu Ratnasari, 19, is optimistic to enter the women’s football team for the 2018 Asian Games. “I have to be sure (go into the core squad),” he said in Bali, Denpasar, Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

Dewa Ayu included in the 40 names of players registered for the Asian Games event. Currently he is enjoying a holiday in his hometown after undergoing national training camp (pelatnas) in Sawangan, Depok.

Before attending the Asian Games event the women’s national football team will compete in AFF Cup 2018 in Palembang. Currently Dewa Ayu is still awaiting the results of his decision about himself in the core squad care of Satia Bagja Ijatna.

“It takes 23 players for the AFF,” said the woman who idolized Real Madrid’s team.

He hopes to pass the selection to compete to strengthen the national team nicknamed Garuda Pertiwi it. “I want to bring the name of Bali, because only one person (me),” he said.

There are 10 countries that participated in the 2018 AFF Cup event. Group A is inhabited by Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, Timor Leste, Cambodia. While Group B, namely Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore.

According to him the 2018 Asian Games is becoming an increasingly special event this year as Indonesia becomes the host. So the motivation did not want just just that. “I do not want to be embarrassed at home,” he said.

Dewa Ayu Ratnasari is currently studying in Management Studies Program, Faculty of Economics, Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar. He came from Petang Village, Badung regency. Women born February 16, 1999 it is the first female soccer athlete from Bali who strengthen the national team. He plays as a defensive midfielder.
